TECHNOLOGY is this week's theme

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

This is my mobile unit. It is a Sony Ericsson K610i. It is one of the smallest 3G phones available and it’s packed with powerful features. This third generation of mobile networks brings the convenience of broadband internet to my mobile phone. It gives me quick, easy access to a world of video calls, audio and video streaming, web surfing, multimedia messaging and email wherever I go.

I have been used to a Nokia unit for years now so I found it difficult to adjust to this one in the beginning. But after using it for a week, I am truly amazed at how technology has advanced. With this phone, I just don’t call them, I can see them too! While talking, I can download or share videos, games and music. I chose this phone because I can use it while I am at work in the hospital because it has a flight mode feature which inactivates radio transmitters and receivers so that some functions can be used.

That is really neat. I would love to have a phone with all those features. Great idea for technology. Oh, by the way, I always love your birds on the topper.

    Have a great weekend,
    Betty :)

Nice phone! I was so used to Nokia too, and found it difficult at first to adjust to a Motorola. It was hard to re-learn how to text! Happy Saturday :)

Very cool phone! The ability to turn off some of the features definitely sounds handy working in a hospital.

    Have a good weekend. :)

Phones are amazing things these days. But even if I live in the Nokia land, I'm using just a basic one - my fancy one is collecting dust in the laptop bag, in case I need to connect my laptop to the internet somewhere other than at home :D

Now that is some real technology. I still fumble around with my small phone! Very nice!

Thanks for stopping by today. Happy Saturday!

It sounds like a very useful phone!

Sounds like a great phone really. I'm looking for something similar, but I want one with a camera in it too, I think. I've been hunting for one recently.

I may have to wait a bit more for the technology to get even better, so the camera is getting better in the phones. That way I can throw out my small camera later - one more thing to get rid off.

We'll see if I can hold myself any longer... *lol*

I love Nokia, but SE has more beautiful body for sure. I don't have a 3G phone as I don't know who I'd have a video call with. Hehe. Thanks for stopping by! :)

The trouble with these small mobiles is, that you need a bigger one to find it, lol !

  • At 1/13/2007 9:46 PM, Anonymous Anonymous

I am too much of a technological cripple to ever be able to use one of these things to it's full advantage! By the time I had it figured out, they would have come out with a new one!

Thanks for stopping by my page! Still love the birds!

Awesome! But I just went backwards in phones, they kept breaking...so I just got an older, clunkier model.

Phones have come such a long way!!

    Thanks for stopping by!

I often think about the early pioneers who would wait months for a letter from a long distance loved one. Now, with picture/video cell phones, we can travel far and still remain close. Truly a blessing of our time.

Cool features! I have an old Nokia phone (Nokia 6600). Me and my husband have the same model. It was so cool when we got it but now it's so outdated. We're thinking of getting newer models, preferably with 3G feature.

Sweet! I don't think anyone can go without a mobile phone anymore. It is so convenient to have.

    Thanks for stopping by.

Great choice for this week's theme. Most definitely, we have come a long way in technology with the cellphones. Unfortunately, I only use the phone for the basics of a contact address book and a telephone. Using all the other features add up and can be a whopper on my checkbook. *hee, hee*

Thanks for stopping by my blog. :)
