The only red thing that first came to mind was the Christmas decorations I have on my tree but I already featured it last week so I thought of posting this red journal which is owned by my late father. I came across this when I was going through his filing cabinet which he brought home when he retired from work in 1995. He recorded almost everything that happened to us his family, at work and his friends. It made me feel sad as I went through each page and at the same time happy because I now have something to remind me of events that happened in the past.

I have a few of the things that my father used on a daily basis too. They make the best keepsakes.
Now I'm kinda teary - but in an okay warm way.
Thanks for sharing a bit of your dad with us.

Journal, it's what I planned to write when I am all grown up! At this rate, I'll be a grandma, and have yet to grow up. :)

I think everyone should keep a journal. I know I have started one so my grandkids can know what grandpa and I were like when we first got married. Thanks for visiting my blog.
