THIS WEEK'S THEME: R E D

The only red thing that first came to mind was the Christmas decorations I have on my tree but I already featured it last week so I thought of posting this red journal which is owned by my late father. I came across this when I was going through his filing cabinet which he brought home when he retired from work in 1995. He recorded almost everything that happened to us his family, at work and his friends. It made me feel sad as I went through each page and at the same time happy because I now have something to remind me of events that happened in the past.

I think it's wonderful that you have your father's writing! I hope that my children will read my writing after I'm gone. It is sort of an immortal thing, I guess.
