Theme For The Week: LOST

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

This tree LOST all its beauty after all its leaves fell off during the
recent typhoon that hit our country. There are around 5 of them in this street
and I used to admire it every morning on my way to work because I can see
a lot of birds on its branches and at the same time, it added to the beauty of
the surroundings. I am now not sure if all 5 of them will ever recover from the
damage of the typhoon.

The tree looks beautiful, even with out leaves. I always admire naked trees ... they have a personality all their own.
    HOpe you are all well.
    Take care, Meow

It is so sad, and yet there is great beauty in that tree even without the leaves....I dearly hope it does recover and will once again be filled with an abundance of leaves....it may take a while, though.

    Mine is up too.

Well, first, I like how you interpreted "LOST". And yes, a tree loses the beauty of leaves,....but it's still pretty to me.

Hope it survives and flourishes once again.

    Happy Saturday.

That is a loss and a really beautiful memory. Hope your country and the landscape recover.

Simply a great photo for the theme! Hope all the trees recover. We don't have Typhoons here in Florida, but we have had our share of hurricanes, and they can be as devastating. Take Care! :)

And now that it's Autumn, more trees will lose their leaves.
    Good photo.
Drop by - mine's up too!

Nature has a funny way of sorting things like that out.

Have a lovely weekend. I'm off to see Herman's Hermits

Wonderful photo for today's topic. Living in the States, I've never experienced a typhoon and I'm sure it must be quite frightening. I hope the trees recover...it's Nature's way after all.

    Mine is up now too.
    Cheers,
    Carol

Great picture for a tough theme. You can tell this week was tough as the pictures I have seen so far are all so very different.

What a lonely, lost looking tree. It does have a very nice shape to it though.

That is so sad that the tree lost its beauty. But I am also glad that you personally didn't loose anything in the storm.
Great take on this week's theme...

    Mine is finally up too.

Oh, trees are pretty strong. I am guessing those trees will recover so you can enjoy them again. I am certainly hoping, for your sake.
