Theme of this week's Photo Hunter is SALTYHere are my entries:RED eggs are commonplace in Filipino meals, especially breakfast. This Filipino delicacy, popularly called itlog na maalat (salty egg), are cured in a brine solution or mixture of clay and salt for a couple of weeks to give them that salty-flavor, and finally hard boiled. Their shells are often dyed with red food coloring to distinguish them from chicken eggs.

Red eggs are usually paired with steamed rice, slices of tomatoes and salty dried fish.
